We play cover versions, but not the usual ones - you'll hear no Brown Eyed Girl here! With our fantastic keyboard player, John, we do a bunch of Doors songs, some Bowie, even a couple of Depeche Mode songs. I never thought I would be writing that!
Let's not forget to mention Ivan on Bass and Steve on drums. It's a great laugh and we make a loud and fabulous sound.
I've just written a couple of articles for the TurtleReality website about our anniversaries of 20 years in web design and 10 years in Drupal web development UK
This is a video of me playing an old song live with a loop pedal. I love looping, it's the most fun you can have on your own....
Click through for a sneak preview of the band rehearsing a couple of songs in November. A little bit rough around the edges, but definitely getting there.
With a few more rehearsals we should be ready to gig by the Spring!
This is my version of Roy Harper's One Man Rock and Roll Band from the incredible album, Stormcock.
I remember seeing him play this live in the nineties in small venues around Britain and being absolutely blown away. How could anybody do that with just an acoustic guitar? And what a privilege to be able to see him play it up close in small smoky rooms!
