Sunday 6th Feb, 2-4pm, should be a nice relaxed Sunday afternoon type vibe. Also, beer and pizza are available, so what's not to like? Come on down and listen to some nice looping, the odd harmonica and some obscure David Bowie covers.
This is one of Roy Harper's greatest songs, originally from the 1972 album Stormcock, it developed over years of performance into a harder, faster, louder song. By the late 80's it would end in distortion and feedback - pretty amazing for one man and an acoustic guitar!
I wasn't happy with the last video I made of this song, so I've done another version. Shame about the lockdown hair, but there you go, these are hard times indeed!

This is my version of Roy's showstopper, Hangman. The original recording of this song featured Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page on lead guitar.
In the 80's and 90's, Roy would often end a show with One Man Rock And Roll Band and then this song. Played though a big PA system it was a really spectacular experience!
